For the bets you already make
The most complete golf wagering app.
Forty-four game formats with nearly two hundred rule options between them. A custom scorecard for every game that needs one. Stack up to three games on a single round — properly handicapped, settled to the dollar when the last putt drops, remembered forever in the Vault.
What's in the bag
Everything you need to settle clean after eighteen holes.
Forty-four game formats
Nassau, Skins, Wolf, Vegas, Bingo Bango Bongo, Stableford, plus thirty-eight more. Every format has its own scoring engine, properly handicapped and verified against canonical golf rules — and nearly two hundred rule options between them: carryovers, validation modes, press rules, point values, payout splits, team rotations. However your group plays it, the engine plays it that way too.
A scorecard built for the game
If a game scores on anything beyond strokes, it gets its own scorecard — points boards for Stableford and Nines, the running Nassau press ladder, Vegas team numbers, Skins carryovers as they build. And when a game asks for a decision, the right control appears at the right moment: Wolf hands you the partner pick on the tee, Bingo Bango Bongo deals its three awards as the hole closes, the Chairman taps a partner every hole, a press is one button when the match turns.
Real-time scoring
Every player scores from their own phone. Updates sync live across the foursome, sub-two-second. No one is yelling out totals from the cart.
Instant settlement
When the last putt drops, the app computes the whole web of debts across every wager you set up. Run Nassau, Skins, and a snake on the same round — every game settles independently, then nets into one number per pair. One clean list: Alex owes Sam $40 — tap it and the amount is already filled in Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App, or copy a Zelle handle and mark it paid. Tap any line to see the per-game math behind it. Friendly Wagers handles the math; your usual app moves the money.
The Vault
Won twenty from Alex this week and lost thirty to him last month? The Vault knows. Running head-to-head balances over every round you've played together, so the next handshake reflects the whole story.
Built for groups
Six-character invite codes. Universal Links from iMessage. Manual players for the friends who haven't downloaded yet. The whole foursome is in the round in under a minute.
Your data stays yours
No ads. No tracking. No selling your information. Encryption in transit and at rest. Delete your account in two taps and your personal data is erased immediately — only a frozen name-snapshot stays on rounds you shared, so your partners' records still read clearly.
From first tee to settled tab
Three steps, then you're playing golf.
Create the round
Pick the course, add the foursome, choose your game formats and wagers. The whole setup takes about a minute. Share the invite code, or send a Universal Link straight from iMessage.
Play, score, ignore the math
Every player scores from their own phone. The wager bar updates live as the round unfolds — you always know where you stand. No mental gymnastics on hole sixteen. When a game asks for a decision — pick your Wolf partner, call the press, award the Bango — the controls surface right when you need them, then get out of the way.
Settle, shake hands, move on
When the last putt drops, the app tells you exactly who owes whom. Pay each other through whatever payment app you'd normally use. The Vault stores the running tally. The friendship survives.

Pricing
Free covers the basics. Premium unlocks the rest.
The free tier ships with Skins and Stroke Play — the two formats most foursomes already play — plus full settlement, the Vault, and unlimited rounds. Premium ($2.99 / month or $24.99 / year) unlocks the other forty-two game formats — Nassau, Wolf, Vegas, Bingo Bango Bongo, Tombstone, Stableford, Hammer, and the rest, including the bespoke in-round controls for Wolf, Bingo Bango Bongo, and Chairman — plus tournament hosting, round-summary PDFs, deeper analytics, and a few subtle treatments that make the app feel a little more elevated.
What's never paywalled
Every round you play. Every score you enter. Every settlement, ever. The scoring path is never interrupted by upsells. Premium adds every other format, tournament hosting, round-summary PDFs, and deeper Vault analytics — none of which interrupts a free user's scoring path. Cancel anytime.

About the maker
Built for the foursome it started with.
Friendly Wagers is built by Zak Taylor, a solo developer who's spent his career in tech. The app came out of his own foursome's trips — there was no clean way to track the bets they were making on the course, and what existed didn't quite do it. So he built what he wanted.
