Open the app, tap the Rounds tab, then tap the green plus button. Pick a course, add yourself, and either invite friends by sharing the invite code or add players manually if they aren't on the app yet. Pick your game format(s), set the wager amounts, and you're ready to score.

When you create a round, the app generates a six-character code. Share that code with the friends you're playing with — anyone with the app can enter it on the Rounds tab and join your round. Codes expire when the round is settled. You can also share the round as a Universal Link that opens the app directly when tapped.

Friendly Wagers supports the most common golf wagering formats — Nassau, Skins, Wolf, Vegas, Bingo Bango Bongo, Stableford, Match Play, Stroke Play with side bets, and 36 more. Each format has its own scoring engine and its own way of computing the wager. Tap any format in the round-creation flow to see a quick description of how it works.

When all holes have scores entered for every player, the app's settlement engine computes who owes whom across every wager you set up. You see a clean list — "Alex owes Sam $40," etc. The app does not move money. You and your playing partners settle the actual debts however you normally would (Venmo, cash, you owe me a round). Tap "Mark as Paid" when a debt is settled so the Vault stays accurate.

The Vault tracks your running head-to-head balance with each person you regularly play. Won $20 from Alex this week and lost $30 to him last month? The Vault shows you're down $10 against him overall. It's the long-game scorecard for your group.

The free tier includes Skins and Stroke Play — the two formats most foursomes already play — plus full settlement, the Vault, and unlimited rounds. Premium ($2.99/month or $24.99/year) unlocks the other forty-two game formats, tournament hosting, round-summary PDFs, and deeper Vault analytics. You sign in with Apple or with email and password.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Friendly Wagers → Cancel Subscription. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find your Friendly Wagers purchase, and request a refund. Apple decides whether to approve it — we don't have access to your billing.

Yes. Profile → Settings → Export My Data. The app produces a JSON file with every round, score, settlement, and Vault entry, which you can save or share via the iOS share sheet.

Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Your personal data is erased immediately — and in all cases within 30 days. Rounds you played with other people stay visible to those players, with your name kept as a frozen snapshot so their records still read clearly. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Not yet. Friendly Wagers is on iPhone first; Android is planned. Everything about the app — the engines, the games, the Vault — is built to travel.

One person in the group needs to be on iOS to create and host the round. You can add "manual" players who don't have the app — the host enters their scores. They won't see live updates on their own phone, but the round and settlement are still accurate.

Tap "Add Custom Course" when picking a course. You can enter the par, yardage, and stroke index per hole manually. If you'd like to request a course we cover automatically, email us with the course name and we'll add it.

First, check that every player has a score entered for every hole — settlement can only complete on full rounds. Second, check the wager amounts on the round setup screen. If you still think there's a bug, email support@friendlywagers.golf with a screenshot. Settlement calculations are the heart of the app — we take bugs there extremely seriously.
